Marc L. Levine, DVM, Owner
Dr. Marc Levine graduated from Cornell University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. He has practiced in the area for several years before purchasing the South Orange Animal Hospital in 1984. Dr. Levine has trained eight puppies for the Seeing Eye, and is an active member of the Seeing Eye community. He and his wife, Fran, have two beautiful dogs, Agnes and Lilly, and a charming brown tabby named Frtiz. In his free time, Dr. Levine enjoys yoga, practicing piano, and spending time with his two daughters, Emily and Amanda. Dr. Levine is passionate about practicing veterinary medicine and continues to learn new skills in the field, such as mastering the technique of ultrasonography with the practice's new ultrasound machine. Dr. Levine loves to provide exceptional and compassionate care to his clients and their pets.

Diana M. Knight, VMD
Dr. Diana Knight joined the South Orange Animal Hospital in 2010 as a full time associate. She obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 2001. After working in finance, she decided to pursue her love of animals as a career. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine, from which she graduated in 2008. Dr. Knight initially practiced in Canada on both horses and small animals, before moving back to New Jersey to be closer to her family. In her free time, Dr. Knight enjoys Bikram yoga, eating out, foreign travel, and trail running with her wonderful English Setter named Dylan. She loves all creatures big and small, but has a special affinity for Sporting dogs. She is thrilled to be part of the South Orange Animal Hospital's team and loves the family environment it provides.
Graduated in 2008 with a Veterinary Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Tina Viscito, Veterinary Technician
With more than 25 years on the job, Tina is the practice's most experienced technician. She is well versed in anesthetic monitoring and dental care in animals. Tina has a lovely Shih Tzu named Nyla, a parakeet named Louis, and a lovebird named Sunny. She has had many different dog and cat breeds over the years and is extremely knowledgeable regarding animal husbandry. Tina enjoys antiquing and is an avid doll collector. On weekends, she is usually visiting her family down at the Jersey Shore. Tina enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge with new employees and clients alike.

Kiran Ahmad, Veterinary Technician
Kiran joined the South Orange Animal Hospital in 2010 as a veterinary technician, after finishing an Associate's Degree in Photography from County College of Morris in 2010. She currently works full-time at the clinic, but is also attending the County College of Morris in pursuit of a Biology Degree. Kiran and her family currently have 5 wonderful cats, Tigger, Lynx, Bacon, Lokki, and Howl. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, biking (both trail and street), riding her spirited pony named Kitalpha, and visiting her family in Finland. Kiran is the hospital's go-to person for all things computer or tech related.
Graduated from the County College of Morris with an Associate's Degree in Photography. Currently attending CCM for Biology.

Shae Small, Veterinary Technician
As the newest member of the South Orange Animal Hospital team, Shae is very excited to meet everyone. She has a combined 3 years of experience from St Francis 24hr Animal Hospital in Georgia and Chancellor Animal Hospital in Irvington. As a child, Shae had a strong passion for animals and their care, which led to her pursuing her dream job as a Veterinary Technician. She is currently studying Psychology at Kean University and plans to obtain her certification as a Vet Tech. Shae has a beautiful 4 year old Shih-Tzu named Bella. On her spare time, she enjoys shopping and travelling with her sister, catching up on her favorite TV shows, and exploring Manhattan.
Currently working on her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Kean Universty.

Donna Massa, Receptionist
Donna is our practice's longest working receptionist. She has an incredible memory for clients and their pets. Donna is responsible for maintaining the practice's extensive therapeutic and nutritional pet food supply. She is also the go-to person for all billing issues. Donna lives with a very outgoing and comical Italian Spinone named Wilbur, and three mischievous cats named Derek Jeter, Lindsey, and Stevie. In her spare time, Donna enjoys bowling, gambling, and spending time at the pool with her friends and family. Her favorite place to vacation is Aruba, where she owns a time share. Donna is a huge Yankees fan and loves to talk about them with our clients. She hopes to eventually retire to Arizona.

Leslie Smith, Receptionist
Leslie started working at South Orange Animal Hospital in 2007. Before joining the staff of South Orange Animal Hospital she worked at Westfield Veterinary Group and Wellness Center for seven years. Leslie and her family have a handsome Kerry Blue Terrier named Wickett and two beautiful cats named Kiki and Zoe. In her spare time Leslie enjoys attending concerts, especially her favorite band, 30 Seconds To Mars. She also loves to read, shop, see movies, and travel to many different places around the world. You will always be greeted by Leslie's warm smile and great personality when you and your pet come to visit.

Donna Detore, Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Donna joined the South Orange Animal Hospital in 2011, after finishing her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at the County College of Morris in 2010. Donna currently works part time at the clinic as a veterinary assistant. She recently received her Bachelors degree from Caldwell College in Elementary Education. Donna is hoping to follow her dream in becoming an Elementary School teacher in New Jersey, after graduation. In her spare time, Donna enjoys reading books, walking her beautiful pitbull named Molly, and traveling to tropical paradises. Donna is often seen sporting a massive smile on her face, for she is hardly upset about anything.

Kelly Benson, Kennel Worker
Kelly has been our very compassionate kennel worker for over 15 years. She works very hard at keeping our animals clean, dry, and comfortable. Kelly is adored by all of our boarders. She is often found loving up our hospitalized and boarded pets. Kelly lives with her very spirited cat names Sabrina. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys outings with the Jespy House, shopping, and going out to diner with friends.
